With more than 300 inborn errors of immunity identified to date, clinicians are requesting an increasing number and range of tests for primary immunodeficiency disorders (PID). This workshop aims to upskill immunopathologists and medical scientists in the rapidly expanding and increasingly complex field of PID diagnostics.
The intensive weekend program will provide a practical and comprehensive overview of current diagnostic assays for PID, facilitated by a range of experts in the field including Dr Vijaya Knight, President of the Association of Medical Laboratory Immunologists and Director of the Diagnostic and Translational Immunology Laboratory at Children's Hospital Colorado. Educational sessions will include short lectures, interactive case based discussions and small group discussions, and faculty members will instruct and facilitate throughout.
